Libcanberra

Libcanberra is a simple abstract interface for playing event sounds. It implements the XDG Sound Theme and Naming Specifications for generating event sounds on free desktops, such as GNOME.

Troubleshooting

Failed to load module canberra-gtk-module

• Failed to load module “canberra-gtk-module” … but already installed

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"

install gtk and gtk3 module should solve it.

$ sudo apt install libcanberra-gtk-module libcanberra-gtk3-module
